“Jindo’s Mysterious Sea Road” is a natural pheonmenon that occurs when the waters around the island of Jindo recede to reveal a long path connecting Hoedong with the neighboring Modo island. The seaway is formed because of the great difference between the ebb and flow of the tide. The path is 10 to 40 meters wide and 2.9 km long.
